Sometimes the simplest recipes are often the best. Pork burgers are often overlooked but can be just as good as their beef cousins.
Pork Burgers
You can't get much easier than simply putting all the ingredients in a bowl and mixing it up!
Ingredients
- 500 g minced pork
- 1 onion finely minced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 large handfull fresh breadcrumbs
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
- 1 tsp good quality paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Simply place all the ingredients in a bowl and thoroughly mix together. Form into burger patties in a burger press or by hand and leave in the fridge to chill for at least two hours, this will help to keep them together while they cook. A little oil on the grill will help to stop them sticking.Cook on the barbecue, turning regularly until cooked.

Serving suggestion: Bread rolls, salad and your choice of relish.
