Five Spice Chicken
This is an incredibly simple but delicious recipe which will suit all of your guests who like a bit of an oriental flavouring.Although this recipe says four people, just adjust the quantities to suit your numbers.
Ingredients
- chicken legs, thighs and wings.
- chinese five spice powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- If your chicken legs and thighs are still in one piece then cut through to separate. Cut the knuckle off the end of the leg.
- Cut the tip from the wing and chop the remainder into two pieces. Place all the chicken in a bowl and cover with about ½ tsp of five spice powder per piece. Season to taste and mix well. You can do this in a plastic bag if desired. Marinate for at least an hour.
- Cook on a pre-heated barbecue until thoroughly cooked – any juices should be running clear. Serve hot.
