My wife, Elaine has been making this lentil soup for longer than I can remember. Whenever there is any event, party or gathering of people, she is always asked to supply a large pot of this soup. Whether it is a summer birthday party or a winter warmer, it is the ideal soup. This recipe was first published in 2013 although she has been making it a lot longer than that.

It is simple, flavourful and inexpensive to make. Please give it a try and leave comments below.
