This is one of those recipes that is so simple it is ridiculous.

It demonstrates that sometimes it is worth experimenting a bit to see what turns out. Marmalade has a bit of all flavours in it, sweetness and sourness and even adding a bit of a glaze. It adds its own dimension to sausages and while it is always recommended to buy the best sausages you can, it will lift even the simplest of sausages.

You can push a skewer up the middle of the sausage and give people something to hold like a sausage lolly. (Let the skewer cool first obviously).

I must admit I have never tried it with vegetarian sausages but I can’t see any reason why it shouldn’t work. If you try it please add comments at the bottom.
