Paneer kebabs

Paneer is an Indian cheese which is particularly good for cooking on the barbecue. It's soft texture allows it to thread onto skewers easily.

Ingredients

  • Paneer cheese
  • Red peppers cut into squares
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Paprika

Instructions

  1. Cut the paneer into cubes about 2.5 cms. Thread onto the skewers along with the red peppers. Brush with a little olive oil and sprinkle with salt and a little pepper.
  2. Cook on the barbecue turning only occasionally. They will probably take about 3 – 4 minutes per side. Once slightly golden, remove and sprinkle with the paprika. Can be served hot or cold.
