Classic margarita


  • 1 shot tequila
  • 1 shot triple sec or cointreau
  • 1 shot fresh lime juice
  • cracked ice
  • salt for decorating the glass
  • lime slices for decoration


  1. Mix the tequila, triplesec or cointreau and lime juice. Add about a hand full of crushed ice per serving and blitz in a food processor. Rub the glass with a piece of lime and dip in the salt to line the rim.
  2. Decorate with a slice of lime or anything else you fancy and enjoy (preferably in the sun!).
